On behalf of the Fullerton Public Library and the Board of Trustees, I am pleased to present the 2011 Fullerton Reads program, which encourages all residents to read the same book at the same time. This year we have selected Orange County: A Personal History by Gustavo Arellano.
In past years, Fullerton Reads has examined books and themes that have taken us to other parts of our country, the world and even up in to the sky. This year we are taking the opportunity to explore a book that is set right in our own backyard. This will allow us to examine themes that pertain to Orange County and some of our own local history.
Although the book Orange County: A Personal History is not aimed at children, we have parallel programming and suggested reading for all ages during the month of October. Please take a moment to look at the program information for this city-wide reading adventure and we hope to see you at one…or more…of these events!
